The Renaissance Gallery in Carmel, Indiana, launched her career as a fine artist in May 2012.Ĭharlene’s sensitive portrayals of people and nature combine elements of realistic, impressionistic, and abstract techniques. Charlene went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Earlham College, and following graduation utilized her creative energies teaching art to children and young adults. Throughout Charlene’s formative years, her grandmother encouraged her to experiment with various techniques and mediums, making each new project fresh and exciting and magical.
